Social trends offers users a subset of paid aggregated and analyzed data for free. If you use Social Trends statistics to power your applications, we appreciate attribution.

Viralheat offers a rich and powerful social media analytics dataset for paying customers. Every data piece displayed in the system can be exported via Viralheat's API platform. Before you get started, keep these things in mind:
  • API Key
  • The REST API has number of methods that require authentication. To obtain an API key, please login to our account and go to My Accounts->API.
  • Profile Plan
  • Your account must have a professional or business plan in order to access Viralheat's Pipeline API. To upgrade your existing account go here or signup here.
  • Calls per day
  • Viralheat allows 500 calls per day/ip address for professional plan users and 1,500 calls a day for business plan users. If you would like to request more calls, please contact Us
