How much does it cost to join Viralheat Affiliate Program?
There is no cost. In fact, you will earn money for referring people to Viralheat.
Do I need to be your customer to join the program?
No. You do not have to be a Viralheat customer. However, a deep working knowledge of Viralheat would be extremely helpful and would probably make it easier for you to sell the service.
Our Affiliate Program is open to everyone, all social media marketers, web analytics professionals, consultants, web designers, marketing professionals, site owners or anybody interested in Social media monitoring and analytics and of course making money!
Why is your affiliate program open to users in United States only?
At this time are only accepting affiliates based in the United States. We are working on tax arrangements with other countries and add more countries shortly. You are free to promote Viralheat anywhere in the world, but have to live in the US in order to be paid the referral commissions.

Payments
How much will money will I earn?
Our affiliate program rewards you for sharing Viralheat with the world. You earn 50% (signup commission) of the first payment made to us by any user who signs up through your affiliate link and becomes a paying member. After the first month, Viralheat continues to pays an amazing 10% recurring commission for as long as the user is active in the system. So you can earn up to $45 per customer that signs up through your referral and then earn 10% of their payments for the life of the account.
Note: Commission rates subject to change at any time. A user has to be paying through at least one billing period (30 days) before you receive payment for the referral.
How often will I get paid?
Viralheat believes in paying often. As long as your affiliate earning are over $100, you'll be paid every month. If you haven't earned $100 since your last payment, we'll pay you after you've crossed the limit. All payments are made via PayPal. Please make sure you have accurate PayPal information stored in the service. You will be asked to verify this information before the payment is made.
Can I get paid for past referrals?
No. You must be an active affiliate partner while referring a user to Viralheat.
Can you send me a check instead?
No. At this time, we only pay out via PayPal.
Do I get commissions if the user upgrades? What about downgrades?
Absolutely, If a user that signed up through your referral and upgrades to a higher plan at a later date, you will earn recurring commissions for that plan. If a customer downgrades your earnings will go down.
What happens if someone cancels?
You will be paid as long as a customer makes a regular monthly payment to Viralheat. Once a customer cancels their account, the user will make no more payments so you will not earn the recurring commission.
Real-time Tracking
How are my referrals tracked and credited to my account?
Each time a user comes through your link/banner to Viralheat and becomes a paying customer, your account will reflect the commission for that user.
How can I check to see how much commission I have made to date?
We make it easy to see how much you're making in real time through our earnings dashboard.
Why don't I see some referrals credited to my account?
There could be a number of reasons for this. Please be assured that you will receive your due commission for all the users you refer to Viralheat that continue to become paying customers.
